You will receive all of these monthly services as well as a guaranteed response time on service calls. This plan is a must for companies of all sizes. The packages can be customized to the needs of your particular network. For instance if you currently use an average of 5 hours of our services per month, you would want an MSP that consisted of at least 5 hours. Your current IT budget will not change and you will receive a monthly checkup at no additional cost! Not to mention the benefit of knowing that if you do have an emergency, you are guaranteed to have an engineer on site within your guaranteed response time.

If client exceeds prepaid hours, in any given month, additional hours will be billed at $5 above MSP rate.
1) Firewall management. This includes any and all updates to firewalls to prevent viruses and worms that can be blocked or filtered with a firewall. All changes will be done in the evenings (unless the threat is severe), and a detailed explanation of threat and preventative changes will be e-mailed to a managed services distribution group. We will be responsible for all content entering your LAN and DMZ network.
2) Antivirus management. Using Norton's Antivirus Corporate Edition, Professional IT Services is able to perform real-time reporting and management of entire campus virus definitions. We will be responsible for ensuring that definitions are current, and that manual updates occur in the event of new Internet threats.
3) Intruder alerts. Using WatchGuard's Live Event Processor and SNMP, Professional IT Services can be made aware in real-time of entities trying to access an unauthorized service on your network, take appropriate measures, and keep you informed. We will be your would-be intruder's greeting party.
4) Backup Management. We will take complete responsibility for your backups. We will tie your backup system in to our management console for daily audits of your backups - in the event of a failure we will notify you and rectify the problem. We will also come on site once per month to verify a restore. We will ensure that your backups are working correctly.
5) Security Patch Management. We will keep you aware of necessary service packs, patches and updates to your system via a distribution e-mail. You can then choose to apply them yourself or schedule time for us to come out and make the changes. We will keep your systems current.
6) Guaranteed Response. By becoming an MSP / Managed Services client, you will have a guaranteed response time to any problems as short as 4 hours. An engineer is on duty 24/7 to dispatch to any of our MSP clients.
Firewall, Antivirus and Intruder Alert management performed at our offices do not subtract from your package of hours. Only time spent at your facilities, or working on a problem outside of the said services subtract from your package.
The only variables in our agreement are the amount of hours and guaranteed response times. Our policy is that a client must prepay at least 3 hours each month (5 hours for Gold).
